Copywriting is strategically crafted writing for promotional or marketing purposes. That can include advertisements, press releases, brochures, websites, emails, whitepapers, case studies, video scripts, LinkedIn profile, blogs, or even your Facebook status updates.

Any copywriter who knows her stuff ensures that the benefits of your product or service are front and center and compel your customers to take action signing up to your mailing list or buying your products and services, or any number of actions your business may require.

Copyright refers to legal ownership of your creation and has nothing to do with copywriting.

What is your Copywriting experience?

I’ve been writing copy since 2014 when I learned about its power of influence. I was fascinated by the science behind the requirement to use certain words or phrases to trigger actions. The art behind it was something else entirely. Instead of plugging a bunch of SEO key words onto a page and hoping Google will direct your customers to the Buy Now button, copywriting makes a connection. By telling the story behind your business and products you create a bond with your customers that ensures they’re loyal for life. More than that, when done right, copywriting creates brand evangelists. That’s the dream every business owners seeks in a customer, and copy has the power to create it.

What are your Copywriting specialities?

I’ve worked with over 100 small businesses selling handmade products. Because of this I’ve become especially adept at creating beautifully concise product listings, professionally eye-catching press releases, traffic attracting blog articles, and blast-worthy social media posts. Working with the US Air Force as a technical writer and instructor, I’ve also developed a great love and skill for training others on the best practice of copywriting.

What does it cost?

I have a very reasonable set rate for copywriting, and I will give you a comprehensive quote BEFORE we start. I will stick to this quote no matter what, so there are no unwelcome surprises for you at the end of the project. Compared with other copywriters, my rates are somewhere in the middle of the range.

Do you require a deposit?

I ask for 100% of the payment before I start your copywriting project.

What does the price include?

I’ll provide you with a detailed estimate that outlines EXACTLY what my cost includes. I’ll break it down so you can see the cost of each individual item. Basically, my end price includes everything I need to write your copy, plus meeting and chat time, research, writing time, amends and proofing. One of the things my clients like best about working with me is the clarity they get on price.

How many changes to the copy can be made?

I provide you with three rounds of copy to review. The first I call a Skeleton Draft. This includes the bare bones of your copy, guidelines, copy rules, keywords (if the copy is for a website), plus details of content for each of the pages in the brief. After this, you’ll receive two more drafts, and you can comment and revise each of these.

What industries can you write for?

Over the years, I’ve written for all types of clients, from medical to industrial, technology and handmade, and many more. You can check out some of my selected clients here . But even if your industry is new to me, don’t worry, I’ll quickly pick up on it’s unique complexities. What separates a great copywriter from just a good copywriter is asking the right questions. I do this to ensure I truly understand your industry, your brand and your clients.

Can we meet?

I often hold meetings via Skype and over the phone.

I live in another country. Can you still write my copy?

Yes! I work for clients all over the world.

Once the copy is written, can we still tweak it?

As soon as you pay the final invoice, the copy I’ve written is officially YOURS! You can change it however you see fit.

What's your turn-around time?

This completely depends on how much there is and how booked I am. I’ll let you know where you are on my schedule before payment is expected. And once I get started, an average project can take 7-10 business days for first draft completion if you are able to supply all required information upfront.
